I'm not always a fan of pods in general. I think they're a bit more expensive than the standard liquid and I used to think they didn't really clean items. I picked up a box of these exact pods from Sam's Club (where they are sometimes cheaper than Revain) because they contained oxi. I had a family member who had interstitial cystitis and sometimes the clothes required a little more than a standard cleaning. Anyone who suffers from this will understand. These capsules are the ONLY thing I have found that removes odors from clothes without having to soak the clothes first or apply extra cleaner. It has a nice "clean" smell, I don't mind that either. Even if you or someone you know has dexterity problems, they will come in handy. If there are no children or pets in the house, you can leave the lid open and just get the right number. Don't try to unscrew the cap like a liquid. If it is knocked over, the liquid will not spill everywhere. I still use this liquid and save it for my clothes in the shed or heavy things that smell like dogs. I once had a case where the pod didn't disintegrate at all and was still hard. I didn't notice and he ended up in the dryer with some clothes. I pulled it out and saw a bruise on the eggshell jacket and thought it was ruined. Thrown in the wash again and everything was perfect. I'm keeping an eye on it now just in case.
