When used as earphones for sports, they perform admirably. They don't slip out of your ears whether you're running or working out at the gym, they have a great sound, and they protect your ears from the rain and sweat. I will only mention the hard buttons because they are the most major inconvenience. When you're in the hall, this is not something that stands out too much, but when you're running, switching tracks with a double click takes some practice. Due of the somewhat enormous size and unique design, they are not particularly well suited for use in day-to-day attire. They are released from the case if they remain dormant in it for an extended period of time. And this includes the carrying case as well as the headphones themselves.
