Solar panels come at a different price point than most people think. You use the highest output voltage and multiply that voltage by the short circuit current. So a 50 watt panel actually only delivers about 37 watts for a 12 watt system. Keep this in mind when choosing a panel - this is the key to a quality and successful installation. This panel will do what it's supposed to do in good sunshine. It is enough to start the autopilot and there is little left. It was exactly what I needed and it delivers! Solid workmanship and looks good. I can't ask for more.
