The assembly instructions were quite simple and clear. The problem was that one part (the base is two halves bolted together) was wrong or deformed and it took some effort to connect it to the other half. I thought I had to give it back but he gave enough when forced to. The stools make a quite stable impression. Because the sides and front are higher than the center of the seat, you have to lift yourself to get up and down from the chair (you can't just slide down). But once you sit down, they become very comfortable. Unfortunately, these stools were too short for our 37" rack. I was able to purchase some universal leg extenders that raised the stools about 1-1/2 inches. Taller stools are sold online, but I didn't like the stitching , these stools are very attractive.
