Ashley Furniture Signature Design Barstool Review

They look gorgeous in my kitchen but they are too short for my standard 36" rack. If I had a stand height of 34-34.5 inches that would be ideal, but the concave design of the seat makes the seat sit under 24 inches. For the record, I have a long waist and still have to raise my elbows too much to accommodate them. As cute as the chair is (I'll miss you!), it doesn't work well which is going to drive me crazy so I'm sending it back.

I first saw these chairs at Ashley's Home Store and they are much more expensive on their website. After removing the packaging and reading the instructions from start to finish using the tool provided, it took me 8 minutes to assemble each chair. The trick is to NOT tighten ANY screw until ALL are in. The chairs look exactly like the photo and are very comfortable and easy to clean. They are absolutely stable when you sit in them. I would be wary of young children too many around.

We've had these chairs for 2 months now. They are durable and comfortable. However, one of the newly formed "bubbles" in the vinyl seat. I'm really betting on a manufacturer error as the other one is ok (so far). While this doesn't affect functionality, it looks terrible!
