Best turntable I've ever had. I hear a spaciousness and depth my albums have never had before and absolutely NO turntable noise. This Yamaha unit is also great for isolating floor noise that comes from walking around the room. As a test, I ran around the room a couple of times while digitizing the album, increasing the tempo with each lap, and only after walking with an exceptionally heavy step did the needle pick up a hint of ground noise. Setup was easy, but the instructions for balancing the tonearm left out one step: lower the arm lift lever before performing the balancing procedure. Is this device a bit expensive? Maybe. But Yamaha is the sound, and this turntable delivers it. It's worth every penny.
