Small drill is great for small things. I had a $20 drill from HF, but it broke trying to use it as a drill. I bent the drill holder so that now when I put the drill in it, it's crooked. So, for this little drill, I used it to drill holes in my picture frames. It doesn't have as many attachments as my HF drill, but is sufficient for small projects like engraving or tiny holes in hobby or wood frames. I wouldn't use it for thick wood or anything like that. Picture frames and MDF boards that are not too thick are excellent for punching holes. The purchase is cheap enough for me. That's all I use it for. No big projects. I used old beats for my HF and that was ok at first. This is a small, almost toy drill. If you want something more powerful, it is better to look for HF.
