Review on Men'S Long Sleeve Printed Dress Shirts Regular Fit Button Down Collar Shirt By Alex Vando by Brian Martin

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Sold men’s furnishing and suits for 5 years and have never seen a shirt quality this poor.

So, first off I didn’t read reviews because I like to try things myself. I have since read a few negative since receiving and they’re all spot on. I sold men’s suits and furnishings for many years at both Macy’s and Nordstrom. This shirt was 100% a return I can tell by the person attempted to put the shirt binders, color guide, and tissue paper back together. The design and color on this shirt is actually really nice, making it look much higher quality than it is. I tried this shirt on and at first glance it was a fit. Then I lift my arms to button top button and they would not move past my lower chest. They are going for a slim fit with this shirt, which they pull off. The problem however is the material. It is listed as "microfiber” all dress shirts even high synthetic blends have cotton, the reason being is they need "some stretch” because this shirt has "no cotton” it has 0 stretch. If we kept our arms at our sides at all times this would work. But as we don’t this is not functional. I literally attempted to button the button for 5 mins. Not only did both arms feels as they would rip at any moment, the circulation was fading and I was losing feeling in my hands and fingers. The shirt is made of some type of polyester and as I have muscular arms, the slim fit of the shirt allowed for zero play once I lifted my arms and needed articulation and stretch In the shirt. Stretchy dress shirts are new within the last 10 years and most do not stretch. The issue tho, is not needing a stretchy shirt, just material that has minimal, natural, stretching, capability. This shirt also has no "Alex Vando” branding. And even if it had a little stretch is shiny and cheap looking. Do yourself a favor and spend you $20-$30 or move a few dollars and buy Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, express, or even Michael Kors. I have owned more dress shirts than probably 10 men will in a lifetime, and this is by far the worse quality I have ever seen.

Pros
  • Best fit right out the box.6
Cons
  • The shirt is not suitable for casual occasions
