Grab a magnifying glass letterweight!

The smallest US coin is the cent. I put a picture of a dime on top of the bag of these jewels so you can see how small the jewels are. I had to use an enlarging paperweight to be able to read many of the assembly symbols on the print. In this picture there are 24 bags with gems of different colors. There is a key on the side of the painting that tells you to place the green gems from bag 13 where the letter D appears in the painting. In general, a beginner's guide was missing from the package. After looking at other products of the same type, I had an understanding of what should happen. That's all I went through to start with this image. Open the pouch and empty the jewelry into the tray that comes with the painting.2. Locate the included pen and wax glue. Insert the pen into the glue to apply the glue to the handle.3. Use the stylus to take the ball out of the tray.4. Read the hint on the picture to find out what symbol you are looking for when you place this color.5. Find the symbol you want in the picture and use the stylus to press the gem on the picture. If it doesn't stick, you forgot to remove the clear protective film. Pull back the sheet to apply the gem directly to the painting.6. Repeat steps 3-5 until you feel you have placed all the beads needed to draw. Pour the remaining beads into one of the 10 ziplock bags, remembering to quote the original bag number. Inserting the numbers will help you find the correct beads if you later realize you missed the dots on the picture. There are 10 pouches but 24 gem colors. You may need to find more pouches or buy a jewelry organizer. Painting is still in progress, so I can't say what the finished product will look like yet. The detail seems ok. The picture is smaller than I expected. But for a first time I think it's a good size. (Just don't knock over your jewelry tray) FYI, this art form (using dots to represent an image) is called Pointillism. One such example is "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Grande Jatte" from the 1880s. Now you can toast a raspberry to anyone who says you don't make real art!
