My 10 year old son asked me to buy him this. I didn't realize how dangerous it was until it arrived! I tested it and we figured out how to use it. I gave him the green light and he has used it several times up until this morning with no problems. When he "pulled it back" and inserted the pin, it slipped, expanded, and hit him just above the eye. The metal is so thin it injured him, leaving a small scar just above his eye. DO NOT TAKE THIS FOR CHILDREN! If it had hit him 1/2 inch deeper he could have permanently damaged his eye. It's very dangerous and I thought once he learned how to use it he'd be fine, but accidents happen. He wanted it so badly, but after it happened he took the liberty of throwing it in the trash because he knew how serious it could be. Don't actually buy this at all. This is cheap junk.
