Review on Black Portable EVA Hard Drive Carrying Case Pouch by Drive Logic - DL-64-BK by Scott Yenson

Best solid protection solution for computer accessories and peripherals

There is a long list of external hard drive enclosures ranging in size and differ greatly in style. I just needed something large enough for my particular drive, the Seagate Backup Plus 1TB USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive (Black) (STBU1000100). Some of the cases I looked at were clearly too small, not strong enough, or wondering if my drive would even fit. if the corners are torn. The inside is made of memory foam, soft like a kitten tummy. An elastic band prevents slipping and on the opposite side there is a small mesh pocket for a cable. There is a slim little pocket on the outside for everything you need as it is stretchy and a bit bendable. I don't use it but it's another added bonus to an already good product. Functionally, a decent amount of force is required to deform the case and compress the closed ends. It's not recommended to put your body under anything heavy or otherwise pinch it, but in case of an accident, this thing is solid. The rounded ends are also very stiff, so the protection extends the full length. I saw a review that spoke negatively about the zip and although yes, the zip is a bit small; The end is a rubber strip that holds up well. I like how the case lays flat when fully open. It might sound a little lame to others, but when I want to back up my data I don't even have to take the disc out of the case. Durability will show over time as I have an awful lot of trouble with things like this due to moving and travelling, but for me this five star case had no downside.
