Have had this for over 24 years and liked it for occasional projects. Donated it to the patchwork club when he moved. Then I got a surprise grandson. Needed another pistol so bought this blue one. It pinched and ripped off most of the nails. From 30-40 I got 6 to work. I know how to use this weapon but have read the entire manual in case anything changes. The old one had some problems. But this one seems to have a problem with the needle or the nails. Suspect the needle has a burr given how it cuts through the buttons. Don't look for another needle and don't give it to anyone right now. I think it's a quality control issue. I love these guns, but NOT this one.
