Works great! I had a washing machine that wouldn't start and I've tried everything I could find on YouTube that the manufacturer suggested. While replacing the spark plug, I wanted to make sure there was actually nothing wrong with the spark plug. This inexpensive tool did just that. Make sure you test it in a shaded area and not in direct sunlight, otherwise it will be difficult to see. Basically, you only see a relatively faint orange light when the spark plug is working. Also, make sure the spark plug is actually in place, or at least touching the ground. Basically, this tester is simply plugged in between the spark plug and the built-in spark plug cable.
