I bought these for a miniature tree and they are the perfect length. I used to use LED lights with a remote control and even if I hadn't, I pushed all the buttons to see what happened. I like different colors individually and they mostly create a slight shimmer of different colors. Since this is a rope with lights, you can't be afraid of getting confused. It's no worse than working on a necklace. The wire is easy to shape or drape. Although I got it for a tree I can't imagine not using it all year round. And who was annoyed that it was a USB adapter. I grabbed a spare charger, unplugged the cord, and plugged it straight into an outlet. I have several adapters from old phones which put some work into the adapter. It turns on every night and is ready to go when we get home to enjoy the brightness.
