This stand was very easy to attach to my desk. I sometimes had to tighten the clamp on the table as I often used adjustable stands. I move around a lot and hold the mic behind me and this hand makes it easy for me. It keeps the mic in place and doesn't sag, fall, or wobble. The only problem you might have with this hand is that the exposed springs in the joints can make a noise when you hit something. If you have a headset cord that can overlap and hit that hand, you may make noise as you move. I had this problem and bought a 3.5mm headphone extension cable and easily solved the problem. I love this arm so much that when I bought my new table and couldn't attach it to the table due to the thickness, I searched Amazon for a new C-clip that was larger and fit this arm so I could continue using it could use . instead of buying a big booth.
