So the bed is like in the photo. The ruffles are cool and I was also pleasantly surprised by the ruffles on the pillowcases. The duvet is good too. But what about the way to wash it? Pooh. I'm not a hot dryer. So 10 minutes on low heat and then tumble dry with cold air for the rest. Definitely collects and doesn’t shed lint. It has the property of "does not crunch" after washing. I would have to iron it to smooth out the creases so I never let the case dry, I take it out before it stops tumbling. I tried a second time hoping it was my mistake. Basic cold water cycle. Cool dry to almost dry, STILL oddly hazy looking pile. I just think for the price it shouldn't look like it. "crumpled cotton". The room it is in is decorated in a somber Victorian/Gothic style. But whatever. It is what it is.
