Elegant stand. Very light and delicate feel, in a good way (but probably not for kids who are rough on it). The fan is almost silent. No blue backlight (why do these things usually have a blue backlight when you turn them on? It's just terrible for nighttime use). The only thing I have trouble with is the front bar that holds the laptop in place. I feel like it's too low (I think it should be more than the thickness of my laptop, not lower, and it's smooth to allow the laptop to slip off when using high altitudes. Despite this downside, I'm considering getting it too leave because i like other features so much edited to add: i used it for a few days and decided to keep it i fucking love it despite the comment above i use it in bed and balance on mine tummy.) I figured IF slippage was ever a problem, a couple of velcro straps would fix the problem. Also, I see other types of coasters and pads don't have a front bar much higher anyway. I'll up my rating and say: Go for it.
