I am starting to buy this tank for my small betta which is only the size of my thumbnail and although I prefer 5 gallon tanks for my adult bettas, would that be enough for him as an adult. (2.5 gallons is the minimum for adult males in my opinion). Filter flow is often a problem for most betta tanks. The filter is pretty strong, but even with a tiny filter like this, once I've adjusted it properly, it's not strong enough to make it fly and look happy, which is a good thing! Another nice thing I noticed is that even though it's so small I didn't have any trouble picking it up, which is especially important when you have a gamecock with nice long flowing fins. ! It comes with a buffer piece that attaches to the end of the air intake which is great! The main reason I chose this particular tank was that it is made of glass - many small betta tanks are plastic and scratch very easily, especially if the glass is constantly cleaned/scraped. This tank seems to be of a much higher quality than most I've had. It's also almost completely covered at the top, which is not only good for evaporating water, but also prevents bridging! There are a variety of colors to choose from for the lighting, including white and 'midnight blue', and there's a watch face that you can customize. either very low or just very bright. Other colors: turquoise, purple, orange, red and green are good too! When I first installed the reservoir I thought the light was broken because when I plugged it in the light came on for a few seconds and then went off, but I found I had to hold the knob to turn it off turn on the light. turn on or off. The coolest feature is definitely the built-in digital thermometer, which seems very accurate compared to the other two thermometers. If I had one single complaint about this whole tank it would be that the thermometer doesn't read Fahrenheit only Celsius, other than that I think this tank is perfect for a Betta!
