Excellent quality, suitable for cages and accessories

To be honest, I'm someone who reads one-star reviews first. I have to say that I was very hesitant to buy this cage because of them. But I'm glad I ignored them in this case, this cage is expensive but really good quality. Complaining about something being wrong is perfectly normal when it comes to shipping a birdcage, but mine was perfect. My little guy is very happy and I'm safe in the back seat. It's nice and heavy, so your little buddy will be less likely to jump. In addition, it has almost

Good weekend portable cage for our gray parrot

This is a durable and convenient portable cage for small to medium sized birds. I bought this as a portable weekend cage for our African Gray Congo, it has enough space for him to have a good night's sleep but is a bit small to keep him inside all day. We let him out to stretch out a few times and he seemed happy. In terms of price and performance, I would say that the price is a bit high for this size, but the quality is very good. They advertise it as a tool-less cage. However, I needed a…

The processing quality is questionable.

Bought ruby grey. Problem number one is that the pieces don't fit well together and the wooden pole isn't sanded and can give splinters to the birds. I had to sand both posts to remove wood chips and sharp edges. The gray cage was very difficult to assemble, so much so that the pins that matched actually bent around trying to get them to catch it around the corner. Also, the doors don't close properly. So if I was taking this outside, I'd have to secure the door to keep it from opening! doesn't

3 small parrots in Birds

Quite large and heavy travel cage. It was missing 2 springs which we got from a latch hardware store. The rest of the assembly was easy and straightforward. My green kennel cheeks feel comfortable in it when we move. They were in the car for three days and I took them to two hotel rooms and back. It is now July 2018. I have to say it has never been taken apart. I've heard strange things about the owners' attempts and I know the welds weren't very strong and some of the parts were slightly bent…

Good.: Birdcages

Good. In general, everything is fine, it looks good. Poorly. I felt that the instructions could have been written better. The montage reminded me of a magic cube. The doorknob spring was missing so now I have to go to the hardware store to find it. Speaking of bars, I find them almost ineffective. The locking part does not go far enough. It snaps into place but not enough to keep the doors closed and they make me a little nervous about using that on my patio. To keep them secure you will need…

Sturdy travel cage with minor design flaws

Preparing for a long-distance move later this year, I thought I'd upgrade my green-cheeked kennel's travel cage that used to be a crappy $15 pet store cage. This cage is definitely an improvement! It's about twice the size and very durable. There is no feeling that any part of it will fall off. It's pretty easy to put together - unlike some other reviewers, I didn't need pliers or a hammer, but I did have to grease my elbow a bit. While the cage can technically be taken apart I don't think I…

Get ready to revamp and upgrade many parts.

This is the second time I've bought this cage. I had one for an Amazon and then a kennel many years ago and gave it to the kennel when it was adopted. This version, as far as I remember, was built and fitted very tightly without fear that it would fall apart. Do not miss the information that this cage has no screws or bolts, it is held solely by the protrusions contained in the grooves. I never worried about the security of my Amazon in the previous version. This one, I don't know, maybe they…

I have had a great experience working with him over the past 2 years.

It has been over 2 years since I bought this cage from Amazon at a great price and decided to write a review about it now. It arrived in perfect condition. But it needed good instructions to put it together, still it was assembled in 30 minutes. Some parts required a rubber mallet to push the parts into the correct slots. Once assembled it looked great, sturdy and heavy! (Note: some screws were missing during assembly, but no big deal.) I have used this cage for my gray parrot as a sleeping…

Here are a few things I would like to share

Here are a few things I would like to share:1. This cage is not heavy. If you're used to a larger birdcage, this one will sound like a dream come true, lol. Still, it's small enough that it's not impractical to carry around during a short walk. I personally find the image of this cage with an eclectus on top to advertise a product misleading. I have a 7 month old Umbrella Cockatoo (so she's probably a hair smaller than your average eclectus) and I'm worried about putting her in there. Another…
