Review on Wolo 3200 Emergency Rotating Warning by Daniel Shivashankar

EMERGENCY! Best in Lighting and Accessories

I coordinate the city's annual cycling event and felt like we needed something similar for our SAG vehicles. So I figured I'd order one and if it looks ok I'd order the rest. I received it yesterday and the first thing that struck me was the size. It's MUCH bigger than it looks in the picture, which is GOOD. The only thing I could relate to was a baseball cap. It fills you up quite a bit, maybe an inch or so around the perimeter. Next comes the cord; It's a straight wire, not twisted like in the picture, and it's LONG ENOUGH to get from the 12V socket to the roof of the car (unlike some other reviews that may have a twisted wire). I drive a 2008 F150, so I don't drive a small car. After all, it doesn't have a switch, you plug it in and it's on, that's all. It looks like it uses a regular brake light bulb and has screws to remove the dome. So if the bulb burns out, it should be easy to replace. The magnet also works well and feels secure. While browsing, I noticed that they come in red and blue. I'll go ahead and order the rest as it seems to suit our needs. I'm giving 4 stars now and will come back later after our event and add what I learn then. (8/1/13) ok looks like we'll need it so I ordered the rest. I used them at an event and everything was fine. They made our cars more "official" so everyone knew they weren't just pickup trucks driving around with their emergency lights on. There were a few comments from drivers that after 6+ hours of driving with them they got a bit tired of hearing them through the roof so maybe they are a bit noisy. Spring. We'll only be using them once a year so they'll probably last a while. I will probably keep my original rating (08/21/14). Second year of use. They still work well and look good and such, but our radio amateurs have noticed that they seem to be generating some interference causing problems for the (radio) operators assigned to each of the SAG machines, most likely due to electric motors . They will investigate how to fix this issue and I'll get back to you.
