Live view works great now! Connects quickly every time. I have had 2 doorbells for a long time, one on the front door which is wired and one on the side door which is battery operated. One of the battery-powered ones stayed over 50 percent charged for about four or five months, but the issue I had was the regular "Live View" activating, sometimes connecting quickly and sometimes having to repeat it four or five times. times before it connects. There was no WI-FI connection. So I ordered this power supply, the power supply says it supplies up to 24 volts AC. The documentation for this article could be better; mine had a small diode in a transparent package but there were no instructions on how to use it. At first I thought it was a 50 watt 25 ohm resistor, which is often mentioned as it's sometimes needed for ring doorbells. Finally, I wanted to use a round ring magnifier to identify this item, it's an IN4007 power diode, not a resistor. I didn't need any resistance with my connection. The wire on the power supply was I think 12-15 feet long but I needed more length so I got another 10 feet of the same wire, soldered it to the original and shrunk it onto the original. I then measured the output voltage which showed me about 17 volts AC. I inserted a fully charged battery and connected the power supply. The device status now shows "firmly connected" instead of "very good".
