When I first bought this I didn't see any reviews and wasn't sure if a USB-C port with DP Alternate Mode would work on an M1 Mac Mini. Because this particular Mac can be connected to two displays, but one must be connected to a USB-C port and the other must use HDMI. From what I've read online others are saying that DP Alternate Mode doesn't work for Macs and some monitors just don't work with M1 Macs, but this works fine with my Mac Mini via the USB-C port on the back. You can even run it at 75Hz, but you'll have to change it from standard to scaled and then choose the right resolution and refresh rate. I also have a gaming PC, but I'm not a competitive gamer at all, but it works fine playing games at Ultra Wide and 75Hz with FreeSync. Note that FreeSync is not enabled by default and needs to be enabled. I have an Nvidia card, but it still supports the monitor's FreeSync feature. Just like on a Mac in Windows 10, you have to manually change the default display settings to set it to 75 Hz. You must also change the default response time to Faster. It can go down to 1ms, but this option disables FreeSync. Also, this monitor is factory calibrated, which looks good to me, but you can also calibrate yourself. The only issue I had was that the monitor doesn't always automatically change the input and you still have to use the joystick under the monitor to confirm the input change. I had no dead pixels and can't comment on the stand as I use another one that can hold dual monitors. There are no speakers, which is fine with me, but it does have a 3.5mm output on the back.
