I was having back problems and the standard yoga mat wasn't helping. It's very hard to find a thick yoga mat, a lot where just slightly thicker by 1/8 inch. So I was really happy to find this one. As soon as I opened the box, the strong smell hit me. Like others said it really smells like cat pee lol. I rolled it out and put it outside for a few hours and the smell went away! I am getting into yoga, and as a big person (6'1" and 190 pounds) I wanted to be sure I had a mat that would be comfortable -- since I work in the basement in a hard cement floor! This mat rolls out well, is soft under my joints yet springs back readily, and it plenty long enough. It's a nice surprise for the low price!

This mat helps cushion my joints when doing floor exercises. The carrying handle is easy to put on and take off. Keeps it rolled up nicely. The mat was crimped up at one end from how it was originally rolled up. It is gradually working out. It also has a chemical smell to it. I tried putting it outside but it didn't eliminate the smell. Feels great but not appropriate for hot yoga. The yoga instructors would not allow for me to use it for my safety. That's my feedback!

I've always had issues with my knees when doing yoga, I love that this mat has so much support! My dog also uses it to nap on and he's a fan!

I bought this to do at-home workouts and it is so nice. It is very thick, so nice on the hardwood floor as well. It is also very long, I am 5'4", and laying down it is longer than me which I love. I got it in black, so basic but works. It is also stored well when rolled up.

I don’t write reviews. This item deserves one. I had been using a big box mat for years. It was hard on my knees. This one is thick, comfy, and just might make it easier to keep my old bones on the floor longer. Much better than my old cheapo mat.

I bought this mat after looking at material, making sure it has low levels of toxicity. I wasn’t expecting such a great quality yoga mat at such a reasonable price. It’s very cushy which I appreciate as a newbie to this. My toddler even enjoys doing yoga on it. Doesn’t come with the strap though ;)

I needed a new yoga mat because my previous mat was so thin that my knees and back were hurting while using it. This is no longer a problem with this mat! Nice and thick and padded to support my joints.

I’m a bigger guy. 6’2 250 pounds. I was looking for something comfortable to lay on that didn’t hurt my back while doing sit-ups. It works perfect. Comfortable and plenty long enough.
