Good Product for my opinion

I'm new to yoga and still very much need support. I like this product because it feels right. natural, like an extension of my limbs when I use it. And, it is light enough that I can move them--I have two--from position to position one-handed, with ease. I suppose wood might have the same natural feel, but I thought these would be less heavy. I am pleased with this purchase.

Pros
  • ‎Yoga cork block
Cons
  • Can be more difficult to store due to size and weight

Awesome Blocks!: my feedback

This block is great--much better than a foam block in my opinion because it feels denser and more stable. Unfortunately, my dog also liked them enough to eat one (he's a beagle and will eat anything) so I'd recommend keeping them stored safely.

Pros
  • Made with renewable cork
Cons
  • Cork material can be harder to sanitize than foam blocks

NOT MADE IN USA for my opinion

Feeling very deceived. Went out of my way, spent over an hour looking for yoga blocks NOT made on China. The details for the description of the product says the company is based in Salt Lake City, but in the end, it’s another Chinese product.

Pros
  • Made with natural materials for a close-to-nature feel
Cons
  • Can be more challenging to use during partner yoga

Quality Product! on my review.

Nice, Solid block. Use for more than my Yoga Class. Changed Light bulbs, cup holder, oh, and stretching. Have had for about a year and still in "as new condition".

Pros
  • Helps tone muscles
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with a history of back pain or spine issues

Extra sturdy: my feedback

These are the best yoga blocks I have ever owned. They are solid which means they don't wobble when I am in one of my more challenging poses. And they've held up well. No sign yet of particles of cork crumbling off the block. I would highly recommend these for people who need sturdy support while doing their yoga practice.

Pros
  • Can be used as a tool for self-myofascial release (SMR
Cons
  • Can be less comfortable to grip for longer periods of time

handy yoga block in my review

I like the feel of this yoga block- it is somewhere between the wooden ones and the typical purple foam. It has a good feel and serve the purpose. If you are traveling you might want to get a foam one because this one is pretty heavy! For home practice, it is great.

Pros
  • Encourages relaxation and focus
Cons
  • May require additional padding for those with sensitive knees or wrists

Best block I've used

If you've only used foam blocks, then you're in for a real treat when you try a cork block. It provides a firm, stable platform, which feels like you're hand is actually on the floor, so you can concentrate on your pose. I've been using this Hugger Mugger block for about a month and couldn't be happier with the quality.

Pros
  • Does not harm the environment during production
Cons
  • Can be more prone to wear and tear compared to other types of yoga blocks

Nice, Solid Yoga Block

My wife and I are doing P90X and we've found that some of the Yoga positions are much easier when using a Yoga block. This particular block is the best I've found in terms of quality. It's definitely heavier and stronger than the typical foam blocks. Because of this, I don't have any worries putting all my weight on the block when I need to.The only downside of this block would be if you needed to travel with it, as the extra weight could be an issue there.

Pros
  • Eco-friendly material
Cons
  • May require additional maintenance to keep it in good condition

sturdy yoga block on my review.

I only had one Hugger Mugger cork yoga block and another much more light weight, which wasn't sturdy enough. I feel more secure now with 2 sturdy yoga blocks

Pros
  • Not squishy like most foam blocks. Solid but not hard like wooden blocks. Love them!
Cons
  • Can be more expensive than foam blocks

Lightweight but Durable

There are multiple options available for Yoga blocks, some even cheaper. But Hugger Mugger blocks are worth every penny. They are sturdy and lightweight. Was conflicted between Bamboo based vs Cork based - but opted for these and no regrets. Wife is using it every day for past 3 months for daily Yoga routine. Would highly recommend these.

Pros
  • Lighter than coarse-grain cork typically used in other yoga blocks
Cons
  • May not be as aesthetically pleasing as other types of yoga blocks

Quality, Thick, Rugged, Way Better than Foam!

Quality Product, super thick and tough cork material. Would be hard to wear this block out. I like the way it looks, and is made of natural materials, as opposed to the common foam blocks.

Pros
  • Non-slip texture for improved stability
Cons
  • May not be ideal for hot yoga or sweaty workouts

Strictly a personal choice, but this is a good one

Yoga blocks come in different sizes, different weights, different densities or hardness and different colors and different materials. If you've been doing yoga for a while you probably know your preferences. There is no "better" for most of these, its just preference. That said, this is how these cork blocks stack upSize: pretty close to standard, that is about the same size of 90% of the blocks I've seen.Weight: Heavier than a foam block, lighter than a wooden blockHardness: Fairly hard, but…

Pros
  • Helps deepen stretches
Cons
  • Can leave marks on surfaces if dropped or mishandled

I would more than likely use a pillow or two forever but was tired of dragging them down onto floor from beds, etc. Plus they don't hold up the same as these blocks do. I bought two, use them daily and wonder why on earth I never thought to purchase them before.

Pros
  • Exercise & Fitness
Cons
  • Can be more expensive to replace than foam blocks

These Blocks are Great!

I wanted something to do inclined push-ups with and use for a various stretches. These blocks get the job done really well! I especially like the feel of the cork, soft but firm at the same time. I highly recommend this yoga block! Also, HuggerMugger has great customer service.

Pros
  • Improves overall practice
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with a limited budget

Get at least two! ❤️❤️

Five would be nice but two will work for now :) thank you for the support! Plus sized personal satisfaction! Much gratitude ❤️

Pros
  • Great quality, but rather heavy for carrying
Cons
  • Cork material may not be suitable for those with allergies

Great product - my new review

This is just like at a yoga studio. I feel confident when I am perched on top of it doing crow pose that it is not going anywhere. Nice solid feel.

Pros
  • Love the cork based product and made in the USA ... great for daily Peloton Yoga classes
Cons
  • Limited color options

Now, this is a block!

When I decided to buy a pair of blocks I knew they would be Hugger Mugger. I've tried their foam blocks in the class and they worked great. I definitely wanted something solid and was debating between their cork blocks and foam blocks. I ended up getting the cork blocks because they match my mat better and are eco-friendly. I was a little bit hesitant because I never used cork before and I didn't know if they would hurt my hands or would be too heavy. At the beginning I though they were too…

Pros
  • Will last for years of regular use
Cons
  • Can be more challenging to balance on during standing poses

Eco Friendly Yoga Block

Serves it's purpose. Block is made of cork and is better for the environment. This block is heavier than most blocks maybe a pound or two pounds total weight. I don't think the extra weight is an issue since it is going to be supporting your pose from the ground anyway.

Pros
  • Helps relieve tension and stress
Cons
  • Cork material may not be suitable for those with certain sensory sensitivities

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All natural yoga block

What can I say? This is a nice yoga block. I chose it because it is made of cork rather than thick foam. I wanted my own block to take to hot yoga. I got this one and I wasn't disappointed.

Pros
  • Biodegradable and compostable at the end of its life cycle
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip for those with sweaty hands

Enjoy my yoga sessions more

So glad I spent the extra money for the cork yoga blocks. They just feel so comfortable when doing the upward and downward dog and the plank. They also assist in several other poses and allow me to more comfortably attain a relaxing position. No down side with this purchase.

Pros
  • Grippy texture provides added stability during challenging poses
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with sensitive joints or injuries
