Review on Kodak BC4404 Carousel 4400 Projector by Elton Luo

Slides were the 'big thing' in the early '60s and we treated them as family until the late '80s. At that time our overhead projector started playing and we stopped looking at our family slides. Over the next few years we said from time to time that we needed to swap out the slides so we could view them without considering the possibility of a new slide projector. On Thanksgiving, our two kids, who were in their 30s and early 40s, said it would be great to see old slides for Christmas. We put it on our to-do list, pulled out a tricky old slide projector, searched the internet for ways to fix it, then thought we should see if anyone sold slide projectors. After some web searching, we settled on Revain, which directed us to Slide Central. What a wonderful place! If we could put it all together we'd love to have the projector and some slide fans shipped out before Christmas so we'll be ready to surprise our kids when they get home on Christmas Eve. Slide Central brought our special gift to life. We ordered a new Carousel 4400 projector in bulk with a full premium access kit. We also ordered an additional 140 slide tray. The slide projector arrived on time and it's a nice machine but our 140 capacity slide tray was missing. We called Bill and Sarah Riggins at Slide Central and the bug was fixed. The owner apologized for the error and sent us the 140 slide tray we ordered and paid for, as well as the second 140 slide tray, free of charge. The trays were sent via Priority Mail and received on December 23rd. We knew that now everything was ready. The only problem was that we lost power late afternoon on the 24th due to an ice storm so the slideshow was delayed until late Christmas night. Tired and bleary-eyed, we went through 560 slides, savoring every memory of the past...pictures from our 1968 wedding, baby pictures of our children we haven't seen in twenty years, and our other children just starting to grow up be… it was just AMAZING. We are sure that Slide Central will help us if we face problems with our projector in the future. We thank them for their help in creating a new memory from old memories!
