clever idea! I recommend and I'm glad I got it, but it's important to know that you get what you pay for. This is not the heating element I used, with a wide, heavy tip. It worked better and faster. However, if you're looking for a price drop or don't use rctx much, that's fine. It's similar to electrosurgery, which I use to cut through the gums. It's essentially the same, just better designed. I never considered using a disposable electrosurgical instrument as a gutta percha cutter. What a great idea. I can even use it to cut through my gums in a pinch. It gets the job done and I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it as it's convenient and reasonably priced. However, I would suggest if possible to make the thread that generates the heat thicker, then cutting the gutta percha will be easier and faster. Again, I could have bought this exact device for a few hundred euros more instead.
