The Lowepro Flipside camera backpack was great. I was looking for a camera bag or backpack. I've taken camera lenses with me on previous vacations, but I didn't like them falling to the bottom of the bag. Traditional camera bags were bulky and I never felt comfortable using them. I stumbled across this backpack and thought about the idea of back access. We recently returned from a trip to Utah. My son and I walked through Mighty 5 (five national parks). The trip was 8 days and we were 7 out of 8 on a trek. We hiked up and down Angels Landing in Zion, to Bryce Bottom and back to Delicate Arch in the Arches, throughout Capital Reef and Canyonlands. The backpack worked fantastic. Changing lenses was much easier and the package could hold my camera (with lens), two extra lenses and accessories. Even if you grabbed two hiking sticks and panted, the equipment was safe in the backpack. This Lowepro model is available in three sizes. I'm a medium size and overall I'm happy with it. My iPad has a case and I was able to fit it in my backpack, but there wasn't room for anything else. Once you get used to what you can carry next to the camera, I found the backpack very comfortable to wear. The backpack also fits under the seat of the plane. I highly recommend the Lowepro Flipside. I'm just wondering if I should have gone the larger size.
