easy to set up but doesn't work well

*edit* broke after a week! I have an old car and I've always wanted to play Android Auto/Apple Car Play in my car. I didn't want to spend more money on top of the actual device to have someone else install it for me. I can't swap the dashboard myself. Then comes this device, it's pretty much plug and play, which is nice. even if the pictures are deceptive. They don't show any wires, but actually there are a lot of wires hanging. You have to plug in the outlet. then you need an extra cable (included) to connect your car to this unit if you want sound output. and you need a real cable connected to your phone. so that there are 3 wires hanging. You'd think it could connect to your phone via Bluetooth to project volume, but it doesn't. Once everything is set up, it's ready to use. It's good to have a large display for GPS navigation. The UI itself is a bit slow and not as fast or responsive as I would like. you have to press hard. It is very frustrating and became very slow after a week. The navigation itself is also a bit slow. Apple Carplay connects a little quicker, but Android Auto was a bit fiddly to get it working. The included mount doesn't work that well. Having been initially excited when I first got this, it turned out to be a disastrous experience so I wouldn't recommend it
