This is my first digital camera and I am very happy with my purchase. This is a big deal when it comes to cameras. I've been using this camera for about a month, everything is fine. Easy to use and offers excellent performance. I also have a docking station which makes transferring photos super easy and there are no battery issues. You also get rechargeable batteries with the docking station. But a word of warning about these batteries - you must charge them for the recommended total time, DO NOT USE THE LIGHT AS A GUIDE. When the indicator turns green, remove and replace the camera - repeat for the recommended total charge time. If you can't get a docking station, my camera comes with Kodak lithium batteries that last a long time. Also, this camera only uses 2 batteries. Most of the other cameras I looked at were used 4! I also have an HP Deskjet 940C and photo quality paper is indistinguishable from normal photos. The Kodak software that came with the camera is perfectly adequate. All in all, this is a great camera.
