Winter is coming as an accessory

Winter is coming. That's what I started thinking about at the beginning of September. And things for winter I usually buy at the end of summer or beginning of autumn. But the last year has left me little free time for such things. Good thing we don't live in the fictional world of Westeros (from Game of Thrones) where winter can last for years. I? i love gloves The skin on the hands dries out easily and a red rash may appear. It tears easily and can sometimes bleed from the dry cold winter air (which is made worse by the fact that I have to work with my hands in the cold). In addition, salt is everywhere. If I don't wear gloves in winter, my hands suffer. So yes, I have (and have had) many gloves: synthetic (acrylic, polyester, nylon or polyurethane), cotton, bamboo viscose, cow split leather, regular cow leather. , pigskin, goatskin and lamb nappa leather. I recently added several new types of leather to my glove collection: bison and deer. Someone gave me a pair of "brand name" Calvin clone winter gloves. Too bad they lacked both fit and functionality. They are too big on the wrist and have a very basic wool lining (and design) that is very itchy when new. This does not mean that hands are warm in winter, the design of the gloves is key to keeping hands warm - if they let in cold air due to too much width, they will not work. On the other hand, I bought myself Elma (or is it ELMA?) 2014 nappa gloves with cashmere lining and wrist closure (button?). These gloves block cold air (when wearing matching winter coats) and I still have them. I wanted something similar but in suede. I'm not sure if it really is a deer skin (all the labels only have Asian inscriptions). Elma gloves (also available as warmers) "Large" are almost perfect for my manly "L" (large) hands (but my fingers aren't very long). The style of stitching they use may not be for everyone (with strips of leather on the sides of the fingers). Overall about 4.5 stars.
