Review on Surya Hettie Pouf 18 Gray by Marti Kordeliski

This may be my first Revain review. I bought two of these poufs/ottomans late last spring but as we waited for other furniture to arrive we didn't use them until about four months later. Even when not in use (and very light use - our child sat on it for several minutes, maybe 3 times?) the padding spreads out over the ribbed fabric along the top edge (see photo). Incredibly disappointing considering they cost $200 each. I would understand if this happened after a few years of heavy use. Upon closer inspection it looks like someone rubbed some kind of glue around the edge, maybe to prevent this? It's too late to send it back as I only had a month to do so and haven't used it during that time. They look good but are definitely lighter than I expected. Look elsewhere for hair in a hidden style.
