Shoes are not unisex for girls

The size is VERY SMALL. Bought a pair for my grandson. He wears 8.5. Half sizes were not offered. Bought a pair of 9s with GIRL on the box and they were way too small (obviously). I sent them back and ordered size UNISEX 10. Came back saying GIRLS. But at least they fit. Unisex children's shoes should be unisex children's shoes. The difficulty of sending them back and guessing the next size is not what I was looking for or expecting. A grumpy grandfather who expected one thing and got something completely different.
