Update: It seems that the monitor doesn't wake up from deep sleep quite often, and often it doesn't wake up even after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable. I did an exchange today, let's see if it's just this block. Whoever designed this stand at Samsung should be fired, period! The monitor is basically non-adjustable (can lean slightly forward or backward). So whether this works for you depends on your table/chair/setup. This can be frustrating when the height of your desk or chair etc. is not exactly the same as the stand of this monitor. Otherwise, picture quality appears to be decent, with crisp text even after zooming to 150% or 175%. I was afraid the resolution might be too high for a 28 inch panel but it seems to work fine. It only has DP and HDMI, so there are no USB ports at all. There's no built-in speaker, but there is a headphone jack (which seems incredibly weak, so NOT very useful in my opinion, so get a separate speaker if you want to hear something). The refresh rate is 60Hz so this is probably not a screen for a super gamer, but for office / creativity / programming and watching movies they are more than enough. I really like the display itself but I hate the stand and I may have to return it if I don't get used to it within 15 days.
