Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Discover the High-Performance Canon EOS R5 Body, black - Unleash Your Photography Skills by Hng Quang แ Œ

A good product, more pros than cons.

Three months have passed, it's time to ate the review. The advantages of excellent autofocus, high speed and excellent results have been discussed many times. The camera feels good in the hand and allows you to get high-quality photos, especially with new lenses. Perhaps no one will note the high-quality UI, symbols and fonts of the display and viewfinder. All elements of the right proportions, the icons are uniform with balanced contrast. (Mediocre UI design makes you want to cry when you pick up Sony, as of February 2022) I wanted to point out things that could be improved. 1) The exterior is worse than the EOS R model. The switch was metal, but became plastic. The inscriptions are sharpened worse. The * and AF buttons are monosyllabic with captions on top, not inside. The top mode selection wheel has become thinner. I would like that they donโ€™t save on older models (at least on the top five and the future one). 2) It would be nice to be able to set the exposure memory to 1 second and 0 seconds. Now the minimum time is 4 seconds, which makes it difficult to quickly switch ISO using the RF lens ring to Auto mode, you need to wait at least 4 seconds. 3) The battery grip is expensive, but it doesn't feel like a unit with the device, there is some backlash (this is my first pen, I expected more solidity). 4) Recording information from the viewfinder is possible on an external recorder, but I would like it to be on a memory card. 5) Pairing the device with wireless networks is kind of archaic. There is no this magic of Apple technology when you open a product, and it is already configured and recognized everywhere. 6) There is no USB-C PD adapter specification listed anywhere. You need to search the internet. 7) The camera control app works with lags and looks outdated (there is a better third-party app in the AppStore), on the iPad 12.9" the preview is also pixelated. 8) On lenses, focal length ranges are marked with a hyphen instead of a dash. The camera has nothing to do with it, but still, the camera with the lens looks like a single whole and the errors are embarrassing.

Pros
  • Compared to EOS R - high speed, greater dynamic range, less noise at high ISO. Autofocus is beyond praise.
Cons
  • Savings on the outside. Plastic on-off selector. The buttons do not contrast with the body color. The accompanying mobile software could have been better. I would like to have aperture bracketing. Shutter slams hard. At 500 mm from a tripod at slow shutter speeds, it is almost impossible to get frames without blur, the electronic shutter saves (although, alas, it has a shutter speed limit of up to 1/2 second).
