I had to remove some adhesive from the hood of my truck after the hood edge protector came loose. I ordered Goo Gone Automotive Lube because it doesn't damage the paint and doesn't live up to the claims that it removes glue from the paint. after 45 minutes of rubbing the stain on the hood i gave up because. The glue is about 70% gone and my hand is tired, my wife comes out and says did you use WD-40? and no I didn't have one so I went and got something out of the RV and it cleaned it to about 95% pretty quickly without much friction. It seems to me that Goo Gone could perform better under ideal conditions, but in this case it didn't do what it claimed or what I needed it to do. I would not order this again.
