Review on πŸ•°οΈ Quartz DIY Wall Clock Movement Mechanisms with Long Spade Hands - Battery Powered Repair Parts Replacement" by Jeff Clites

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Identical to original

I replaced the motor in the clock on our chimney. I was surprised to find the exact model number (12888) of the one I was replacing. Rarely will you find the same part number when dealing with a Chinese product that was made 10 or 15 years ago. Was it accurate? The motor unit itself is present, but the neck that runs behind the face was slightly longer. By measuring the depth from the front screen I found it to fit perfectly. The exchange went well. Paul ripped off the old hands, then the nut holding the engine by the snout at the back. Pull out the old motor. Insert a new one. Be sure to check the length of the arrows provided. Depending on the provider, they are available in different lengths. The product came very quickly, well packaged. Just install, put in a battery and hang back.
