I had to remove the cover from the phone to put the phone on. Also, make sure you place the phone all the way inside the gold envelope and not between the front and the envelope inside. Also depending on how fast your phone boots up for the test. It may take a few minutes for the phone to show a lost contact sign. For me it barely fits and not with a phone case. Otherwise it does what I need. Although I'll probably swap it out for a bigger one later so I can keep the phone case. I'll update about other phones later, but I expect the same
