I won’t say that I am a professional photographer, but I understand something about it. I can say that this is one of the best "family" cameras today. Without professional bells and whistles, absolutely not needed for amateurs, but still a DSLR that takes very decent pictures. It is quite suitable for beginner photographers, not those who take self-shots and take pictures of checks and food in a cafe, but photographers in the old sense of the word. Very comfortable in the hands. The camera has many useful features. Excellent mirror, I recommend.
