Review on Protect and Safeguard Your Queen Size Mattress: Ultrablock 6 Mil Plastic Cover for Moving or Storage – Tear and Puncture Resistant, Non-Slip Grip by Erik Barela

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Fake (torn)

Was very disappointed with the UltraBlock mattress bag, it didn't live up to its (claimed) reputation. a mattress bag advertised as a quality product because I wanted to protect my new and expensive mattress. The first thing that struck me was that the plastic isn't nearly as thick as you might think it should be to be tear and puncture resistant. For the price of $22, I expected a lot more from this illustrious plastic bag. Within 2 minutes of putting the bag on the mattress and taking it out of the house, it ripped in 2 places. Shame considering I put everything out of the way not to cut anything with the mattress and bag. No longer sealed and protected, my mattress was damaged just minutes after the move. I want to use the cheaper U-Haul or Home Depot bags (where 2 bags were offered for half the price of an UltraBlock bag); However, I spent the extra money on what I felt was a better product and got burned. Bottom line: either buy cheaper bags that can tear, or go all out and spend even more to get woven plastic bags. The UltraBlock mattress bag was not an economical choice, nor was it a quality choice. The UltraBlock mattress bag was a poor choice.
