I bought this to surround a computer in my recording studio to block the EMI emanating from the unit. I took an electric guitar and put it near the computer before putting the cloth on and a lot of noise and interference came through the pickups. I folded the fabric to be as thick as I could cover the computer. I did the guitar test again. Exactly the same sound. This material did NOT block EMI. Then I decided to fold it as thick as possible and put my phone inside. The cell phone was still working and receiving calls and messages. The thing does absolutely nothing.
