USB-C connector size is far from tolerance. I measured the connector in a lab at the university I work with, along with a real OnePlus cable, and it doesn't meet IEC 62680-1-3 standards in any way. The fit when paired with a OnePlus phone is so tight that it could damage the phone's USB port. Why is the USB-C connector on this cable so sloppy that it falls outside the allowable tolerances of the applicable industry standard? If you want to damage the connector in your phone, this product will do it. The USB-C port was now trying to connect to 3 OnePlus phones. So not only do lab measurements confirm the issues, several phones don't work with this cable. I have contacted the seller. First they blamed their parts supplier, then they talked about it and claimed that their Chinese supplier makes the connectors right.
