The light I received has the same problem described by another reviewer: when I adjust the light pattern it randomly changes to a completely different one light pattern. This can happen after the light has been running for just a few minutes or after a few hours. In order for me to actually use this light, it needs to stay in the set mode until I turn it off. This is clearly a faulty device and as another user is having the same issue I would advise you to stay away from the 'sea water wave' display.
