First of all this is not my first tent - I have owned a large number of tents including brands like Big Agnes, Tarptent, Zpacks, Luxe to name a few. It's not the lightest tent you'll find, but it's also very well made and matches Big Agnes quality. In contrast to other cheap third-party tents, all seams are taped and the tailoring is neat. It uses high quality hardware such as aluminum rods and snap buckles for fly attachment - the same as Big Agnes. The quality is definitely a huge step up from the stuff you find from the Wmart or Coleman brands. With free returns, I recommend everyone to just give this a try. I used it as a 1 person tent and it offers enough space. There are double doors so he's good for two but not big and he likes to get up close.
