Good lighting. A string of 220 LEDs will do for a 7 foot Christmas tree unless you prefer more light than I do. For me it's perfect. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW IS THAT YOU JUST JUMP FROM END TO END WITH LIKE FIRES. There is no port to connect another power cord. This is explained on the product page so I knew when I ordered. There is no remote control. Changing modes is done with a button on the part that plugs into the wall. Does not come with spare bulbs. At the moment I don't know if they will still work if the bulb burns out. The bulbs are not interchangeable. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Pretty good buy. ***UPDATE*** Turns out the modes aren't great. The first mode is if they stay on and that's fine. The second mode seems to cycle through all modes, and the rest of those modes are nondescript. The pace changes and there is no way to control it. While slow fading and turning off appears normal or flickering, it speeds up and slows down. These lights should probably be accompanied by a seizure warning. I don't tend to do stuff like that, and some of those modes have haunted me. So it's a great string of lights if you leave them on. Choose a different mode. Not as much. Drop from 4 to 2 stars.
