I installed this solar powered security camera in my shed overlooking my backyard as I don't have a power source to connect the camera. The solar panel provides all the energy to run the camera and works without having to constantly remove it to charge it in my house just like other outdoor devices. This model was perfect for keeping track of things on the go. Mounting holes in base. Although the camera is heavy, the mount holds it firmly in place, and the camera base is adjustable, making it easy to set the right angle. I already have the app installed and am familiar with setting up and using the features. I can say with confidence that the application is very convenient. This camera uses Wi-Fi. So as long as you have a decent connection within range, you can use this camera remotely. The app has multiple features to customize various notifications. The day and night picture quality is very clear when viewed on my phone. The camera has excellent night vision with minimal ambient light. I like that the camera is waterproof and solar powered. Design, functionality, quality, app browsing, and notifications are some of the best I've used in terms of affordable security cameras. A very well made product and I highly recommend trying it out. Worth the price!
