We bought these for my daughter's fairy birthday party and thought they were great until she accidentally smacked her face with them. The metal that forms the crown was so sharp it literally pierced her eyeball. Now my little daughter has cataracts and is blind in one eye and needs surgery to fix it all by removing her entire lens. Eye. I didn't realize it was so badly and carelessly made that there was bare metal sharp enough to pierce an eye! I bumped into it with my finger and only felt the edge after she hurt her eye and it even cut me. Conclusion: do not buy them for children. Very poorly made and unsafe.
