First time; it is gathered, not pleated. Those are two different things. But I was pretty sure it wasn't wrinkled when I ordered. I wanted a light flowy skirt for spring and summer. It meets all requirements. I'm 5'10" and it's still mid-calf which I like. Light, comfortable and easy to wear. Haven't washed them yet. Work wear so no problem. Seems to be very light and nice will dry.I received a dusty blue,the color shown is correct.Size fits.I am sure he will wear a lot.Worth the price.
