Review on 🍳 Efficient Family-Sized Electric Griddle with Drip Tray: BLACK+DECKER GD2011B by Naoka Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want to cook bacon, take this pan.

I'm having a pancake and waffle party soon and need an electric skillet for 30+ people that will ruin my house with breakfast. A long time ago I had an old electric frying pan and I really liked it, but it was abandoned and scratched. So this should be my replacement. There is some hate in the reviews for this product and not all of it is justified. Complaints are worth noting: yes, the cord is very short, so you might need an extension cord if you don't have a suitable outlet. And yes, the floor gets very hot. This is a budget cooking item and it's not really a problem, you just have to know not to destroy your table. Many other reviews complain of inconsistent cooking or temperature setting issues. I find this a bit strange as this applies to all electric heating elements. Just look at the bottom to see where the coils are and plan accordingly. Also, let the item preheat and radiate heat and you'll be fine. Eggs, bacon and pancakes are easy to make and I don't have to fiddle with the edge of the pan, it's so satisfying. Probably the best thing for me is being able to make pancakes for my daughter and I and not having to decide if I have to wait for my own. to finish while she eats or tries to reheat the first batch in the oven. Read the instructions, warm up and enjoy!
