Great little outdoor camera for the money

This is the third Wansview camera I own; I have two internal Q5 cameras that I really like. For the money it's hard to find a better outdoor camera than the W4. Here are the things I like and dislike: PROS: Feels solid, not cheap. It has a pleasing aesthetic appearance. It was easy to install in a corner ledge on my house. It is convenient when the power, ethernet and reset button are on separate cables. The picture quality is excellent. The night vision is also excellent. As with my other Wansview cameras, setup is very easy and the app (which has its flaws) still does a great job of managing multiple cameras. OKS: Unlike the indoor cameras I have, this one doesn't have an SD card slot. I love the timeline you get when browsing files on an SD card. With the W4 outdoor camera, however, you can still activate motion alarms, which automatically record small snippets of every movement. These recordings appear to be cloud-based as I can access them from multiple devices on my account, but I am not currently paying for the cloud service. They are presented in a functional thumbnail and you can save them locally to your phone if you wish. I'm not sure yet where the line is for them; I've had the camera for about a week now and as far as I can tell I've been able to review every shot since I've had the camera. Motion sensitivity varies greatly depending on whether night vision is enabled. During the day I can set the normal sensitivity and everything works fine. But at night, it catches every speck of dust that flies in front of the camera and sounds the alarm. It looks like the app lets you set up your own motion settings schedule and I've yet to look into that, but unfortunately I'll have to set it up manually every morning and evening or learn how to set my own schedule. CONS: Antenna. Accomodation. The position of the antenna makes it difficult or impossible to set the camera at certain angles. Mine is mounted completely upside down on the porch of the house and from here I couldn't point the camera where I wanted because of the antenna. I had to turn the camera all the way around to get the antenna hanging straight down. The app allows you to rotate the video to accommodate this type of setup, but I'd rather have the camera look the way I want it. Also, there is no way to record sound or remotely control/position the camera. All in all I'd say if you're looking for a decent little outdoor camera, especially if you're already using Wansview cameras, this little fella offers a lot for the price.
