They seemed to work with nostalgic games on my Wii U but when I tried it on my Wii it didn't work with my GameCube games. I followed all of the other reviewers' tips, but while they initially seemed to work, the controller would lose connection every time the GameCube game loaded. My Wii has GameCube ports on the side. I was hoping this would allow me to get rid of the extension cords required to use them. I don't know why they lost connection or not, but they definitely didn't work on my Wii.
